RoverPC produced a powerful and stylish business model communicator RoverPC pro G7, created for users who are not accustomed to change little things either in work or in recreation. AT&T and LG unveiled the availability of the LG Incite, a Windows Mobile powered smartphone with 3G capabilities, built-in aGPS and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0. The LG Incite is equipped with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, Microsoft Office Mobile and Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5.

AT&T customers can now have a smartphone of "epix" proportions. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) announced the availability of the Samsung Epix™, an innovative new smartphone featuring both an advanced touch screen and new optical mouse technology that is powered by AT&T's 3G network, the nation's fastest, and the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.

Terry Myerson, the Microsoft executive that has overseen development of Exchange communications server software for the past 7 years will take over the development of Windows Mobile. Development of Win-Mo had been rumored to be in turmoil lately. Myerson will become corporate vice president of the mobile communications product group, and will replace corporate vice president Todd Warren. Warren is to stay on at Microsoft as corporate vice president of technical strategy.

A recent article by The Wall Street Journal reports that HP will soon release a new smartphone. It isn’t clear whether the new phone will be iPaq-branded; what’s clear is that the new phone will be sold in retail stores to consumers rather than just to corporate users like before.

Zune on Windows Mobile

As Microsoft prepares to release their revamped Internet Explorer Mobile web browser for the Windows Mobile platform, it seems that the company’s mobile browser Deepfish has been canned. Back in the day, Microsoft promised the mobile community full-HTML browsing with their still-developing Deepfish browser.

Check out this shot of an Asus device that might challenge the Samsung Omnia when it’s released. Apparently it’s called the Asus Glaxy7. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and the display looks very similar to the Omnia. Other features are a 3.5 “WVGA 800X480 / 65K Color TFT, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, microSD memory card slot, mini-USB, 200 hours standby, 4 hours talk time, and a trackball that acts like a D-pad. On the back is a 5 megapixel camera with no flash for low light conditions.
