Bejeweled 2 Find Its Sweet Way To iPod Touch

The last time I have played this addictive game is in my Palm Treo 680. I definitely been hooked for quite sometime before I decided to tke a break and focus my attention to my PSP. But the fact that it has now an iPod Touch version of game, who am I to resist the temptation to have this available on my iPod Touch. I shed USD$2.99 from my credit card.

Phew!!

Check source or you can downlaod the game via App Store using your iPod Touch.

QuickPwn released for iPhone 2.2

quickpwn_22-480x388.jpg

With the lightning efficiency of a neurosurgeon lopping out the medulla oblongata and replacing it with an Arduino installed in an Altoids tin, the Dev Team have released a quick update to their QuickPwn tool, allowing iPhone users to upgrade to a jailbroken 2.2.

There's some caveats: if you've got an iPhone 3G and have any hope of carrier unlock, don't upgrade. The iPod Touch 2G still isn't supported. But I upgraded my jailbroken iPhone 2G the other day without a hitch, so everyone should be safe.

Incidentally, I'm a big fan of the new App Store "update all" button.

App Store to Hit 1 Billion Mark Sooner Than Expected

If you love your iPhone, and can’t get enough of the App Store, Apple has reached a milestone with stunning speed. Last week Steve Jobs announced that Apple has seen more than 100 million downloads from the App Store so far. Impressive by any standards… But it gets more impressive. If App Store users continue to download at the current rate (was around 70 million downloads in August) that would mean the App Store would reach 1 billion downloads before the end of the first year. Not too shabby I’d say.
